Approval targets one exact immutable revision. Superseded versions remain in history and are no longer actionable.

Reduce wrong-version risk
Printing from the wrong revision is costly. Tintadot keeps published quotes and sent proof versions immutable. When a customer approves v3, production context stays tied to that approved version while older revisions remain historical.

not a vague status
Tintadot derives production readiness from explicit requirements instead of one loose status. Depending on the job, that can include accepted commercial context, required payment, exact approved proof and production file, physically verified goods, and complete production information.
Lineage preserved: RFQ-1042 → Q-0831v3 → P-0412v2. Reorder creates a new transaction and re-evaluates current pricing and requirements.

Repeat without stale state
When the job finishes, the history stays intact. A reorder starts a new transaction from prior context instead of reopening the old job. Prior artwork and production history remain referenceable while current pricing, requirements, and approval needs are evaluated again.
